TRIP N°3 : PARIS (France)

 Hello future globetrotters!

For this third article on my blog, I would like to share about the city of love: Paris. Today the goal of my article is to make you discover the beautiful city of Paris and France thanks to different activities to do with your boyfriend or girlfriend. Unlike other stays with friends, this one is to be done in love. I propose you to do the main activities of Paris on a short period of 3 days, but you can adapt my advices as you wish of course.

Paris, France

How do I get to Paris and how much does it cost?

For this little Parisian trip, you can take your flight tickets in different airlines as Paris is a very well served city thanks to its airports. However, Ryanair offers cheaper tickets, so I suggest you fly from Tuesday, 10 May 2022 to Thursday, 12 May 2022 from Edinburgh. The outward ticket costs £12.99 and the return £24.99 which is a total of €45 (with exchange rates).

Where to sleep in Paris ?

The city of Paris gives you a wide choice of accommodation : you can sleep in a hotel, a youth hostel, a flat, a house... whatever you want. So for a romantic stay I suggest a small, cheap two-star hotel (to save money for activities) in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. The Camelia Prestige Hotel is located on the Place de la Nation, 30 minutes from the Eiffel Tower by metro. The cost for two nights for two adults is about 120€ or 60€ each.

What should I visit and where should I eat?

Paris is a very big city with many things to see. So I made a 3-days program with the main monuments, museums and parks to see as well as very good restaurants. If you want to visit Paris in more detail, you should come for a week.
